Over 4th of July weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting Beth & Jason’s wedding in my hometown of Dayton, Ky!  The day just seemed to go by perfectly & Beth & Jason allowed me to have complete control (which is amazing!)  They were willing to do anything I asked!  This is a long one… I had way to many favorites!

Beth’s mom, Gina, wrote her a beautiful letter.  She asked one of the bridesmaids to read it aloud for everyone to hear because she knew she wouldn’t make it to the end without crying.  It was so touching!

Beth is one of my good friends, so when she asked me to take portraits of her & her husband, Drew, I was very excited!  We walked around downtown Louisville & found some awesome locations.  I hope that this session shows all of you married couples out there that it is always a good time to have professional portraits taken of yourselves… you don’t need a special occasion!

Olesya and Jason have one of those fairy tale stories that make all of us romantics jealous…. He saw her sitting across from him in an airport in Dublin, Ireland and said to his buddy, “I’m going to marry her.”  Their first date was in Salzburg, Austria and the rest is history.  Of course, this is the cliff notes version, but when you look at the pictures you can tell that they were made for one another….

Once it got dark, we headed downtown for some night shots.  We didn’t get to stay very long because a huge thunderstorm was rolling in.  We did get some great shots though…

I can honestly say that I have never cried at a wedding (except my own.)  This one almost got me.  I don’t think I have ever met two people who were so in love with each other.  Don’t get me wrong - I’ve been to many amazing weddings where the couple was just so excited to be getting married.  But there was something different about these two.  Their vows were so touching & I felt like an honored guest as opposed to a vendor.  I truly enjoyed every minute of my day with Cat & Gary!

I assisted with Rachael & Andy’s wedding in Cincinnati back in the beginning of May.  It was such a beautiful wedding (even though I stepped in a pothole & totally wiped out - but they pretended not to notice, which was awesome.)  This post is crazy long because I have way too many favorites:

Last week Katie, Jerry & I headed to Downtown Louisville to shoot some Engagement Pictures.  We had a really gloomy evening, but I think the pictures turned out great anyway!
